lovely cardigan but fabric balls quickly

The cardigan is lovely, I also bought the box cardigan as well, love them both except for the fabric. I have bought a number of items from Freeze and they all seem to have the same problem the fabric balls easily, from the first wear. Love their clothes but this issue is a problem and makes the clothes look shabby quite quickly.
